You were a great thespian who starred in Are you being served.
The show gave you fame and fortune and that's exactly what you deserved.
You were a bit on the stocky side and you didn't have much hair.
When you died, people were saddened because they knew it wasn't fair.
You gave the program charm and grace.
The show lost a lot of its luster when you were replaced.
You wore your glasses on the end of your nose.
You starred as Mister Grainger and you sold men's clothes.
When people watched you, they never got bored.
You were a skilled actor and should've been given an award.
You are still well remembered even though the program was made years ago.
Are you being served is a classic and you helped to make it a great show.
