The darkness is so hard to bear
So alone, so used to it, I don't even care
There was a time I did
But after a while everything went dim
I lie awake every night
Wishing you were holding me tight
When the sun rises
Tears come and I want to hide
All I really want is you by my side
When I wake in the morning
Next to you I know my day won't be boring
I know when that day comes our hearts will be so filled with love
We will be so overwhelmed with happiness
Instead of this horrible emptiness
I haven't seen or talked to you in so long
In my heart I know we belong
I always remember our song
All My Life I pray for someone like you
Even though You are not here I still love you
In my heart I know you still love me too
