He pushed me down the drain again
I awoke with the sound of the rain
I hide these marks beneath the lies
He pulled me down again
He showed the life down my throat
I screeched I scratched for help
I tried to reach his cold, white skin
He shut my eyes again
He took me by surprise
As he jumped out of a moving train
I screamed I cried
He expected nothing less
A little rat walked over to a wall
A screaming blast in my ears
My hand held a mirror
The image was all but well
I scratched my little wounds again
I hide them all from you
And all you see is nothing
Compared to the horror inside of me

This is a very good write. Raw poetry from the soul only comes with great emotion. |
