It's safe to say you broke my heart in two,
you whom I had given it all,
with no warning, just a brief it's through,
awakens pictures of angels who fall.
You whom will stay my dearest friend,
you whom tamed the fiend,
you whom had taught me important morals,
you whom painted the sea with corals.
Pushed away by heaven,
told to stay,
so fragile a bond so easily severed,
you still drift my thoughts every second of every night and day.
I knew before it wouldn't last at all,
didn't keep me from trying till finally we given up on it all,
everyday a dark cloud filled sky with unhappy weather,
hardly the pain of a falling feather.
We given up?
Was it you?
Was it me?
Unanswered unneccesary unchanging thoughts,
that wouldn't make a change at all,
this heart changed from summer to winter and finally to fall,
I give up on this "love" I thought would be the best of all.
