You made watching Gilligan's Island fun.
When you guest starred in an episode of Batman, you were actually called Gilligan.
You made people laugh during the Vietnam war and that wasn't an easy thing to do.
You and Barney Fife nearly came to blows when you tried to steal Thelma Lou.
Carroll O'Connor wasn't quite right for the part of the Skipper so they went with you instead.
It was fun to see you act because you were so talented.
You and the other castaways were marooned because of a violent storm.
You got the part of the Skipper about seven years before I was born.
I couldn't watch Gilligan's Island when it originally ran.
But I've seen you in reruns and I'm one of your fans.
People were fond of you and they remember you well.
We will see you again in Heaven, Mister Hale.

Very cool idea! I liked the old skipper, he was my third favorite, just behind Ginger and Maryanne! Nice tribute to Alan Hale and some interesting background too!
