CARIBBEAN CRY

In a long lone sandy beach
between those huge rising waves ‘nd
tall slender palm trees played my little boy
of ten, no buddies for him none; but for these
tall palm trees to look up on and the joyful waves to
splash upon, my little boy of ten had his own fun.
Strange was not that day - sun raised from east
as it did the other day so did the waves and the trees
roaring and nodding to each other whispering perhaps the
worldly affair, as they did the other day,
teasing my little boy of ten ho, what a fun.
The time froze for a second or so when a
monster emerged from the ocean base wearing a
friendly human face those mesmerizing eyes and
the sweet smile kept spell-bound my little boy of ten.
He stood motionless while the lusty monster devoured
my little boy of ten leaving behind his soulless remains
buried in a shallow grave. Stunned waves and the palm trees
stood as a mute witness while their pal of ten lay motionless
beside the ocean line.
From Caribbean sea to the Arabian sea and till the far Tasman sea
the wailing and weeping of a sullen island mother and whispering
ocean cry is heard. Those who have ears can hear those who have
a heart can feel. Translating a grim-crime that occurred - not long ago.

A really touching write, Franco. Sean was just six.... and the two young men who did this terrible thing to him have been held and charged.
Thank you for sharing this.
