Now and Evermore

Topic: Lifepoems

Are you satisfied?
Now or Evermore
Your questions have been answered
Over and over again
Repeated for your imagination
Waiting for you to comprehend
Life isnt always easy
And in fact it gets harder
But dont let that stop you
From succeeding
And from trying
Now and Evermore
To do your very best
No matter what course it may take you on
No matter how far you must travel
Just to do what is best
Now and Evermore
People do not realize
The urgency in life
To conquer their fears
Live out their dreams
Participate in beliefs
Everyone just rides the tides
Now and Evermore
Few have the knowledge
That a price must be paid
For them to learn
And to pay their debt
To society
But this action can occur
With trust and love alone
You can conquer the divide
Of races, sexuality, and gender
Now and Evermore
For no matter what those of us believe
-The ones high up in society-
-The ones who have a choice-
Not everyone is equal
Not everyone is free
People just arent treated
The way that they should be
As equals, as one, as Human Beings
Now and Evermore

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
