Emylee Skye (prayer request)

Contributed by emystar on Tuesday, 11th April 2006 @ 07:17:33 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I've been at my youngest daughter Dee's waiting for Emylee Skye to be born. Some know but to those that don't Emylee Skye is my grand daughter. The Dr. set it up today for c section on Tuesday afternoon after three o'clock, the 18th.
We'll all be happy when it's over as Dee has been in much pain for the last two months. Little Emy is fine as they did an ultrasound today.
I'm asking for all to say a prayer for mom and baby.
God bless you'll,
emy

I will say a prayer that mother and baby will be through this difficult time soon; and that a healthy baby will be placed in her mother's arms.

God Bless, Emy

“I asked God for strength that I might achieve. I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey. I asked for health that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity that I might do better things. I asked for riches that I might be happy. I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for power that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.”

Hence, now I shall simply put this prayer need into the Master's great hand; for who understand better 'such a burden,' yes who else 'better' to comprehend...

Prayerful regards,
~Lilly-Quill

Emy, I have been praying all along... here is a prayer poem for her and you and her mommy... Love RaquelLeah

My Dear Heavenly Father:

Bless little Emylee Skye who was sent down from above,
Please protect her always; keep beside her your angels of love.
When she opens her eyes and makes her very first sound,
Help mommy and grandma too, for they will always be around.
Here I too will keep saying my prayers, I know that you will allow,
Everything she will ever need in her life, when she goes to bow.
We know God you love us, all of us babies with lives,
That we were made from your Kingdom and in our heart, your love strives.
Keep little Emylee Skye happy and healthy, so that she may endure,
This life here on earth and please keep her heart pure.
God, we have faith that you will guide her each and every day,
And give her all your strength and to hear her always when she goes to pray.

Amen

RaquelLeah
