Munchies
Licky lips, cotton mouth
Calorie counting just gone south
What treasures does the fridge contain
The missing pie, tomorrow I’ll explain
I needed food, I really did
But couldn’t stop once I lifted the lid
Taste bud frenzy
A saliva lake
All washed down with chocolate milkshake
3am cornflakes or cold pizza slice
Shmokin da weed, the munchies the price
Half pack of biscuits found in a bag
2 months out of date and inclined to sag
You just wouldn’t eat them at any other time
But when you’re hit by the munchies it all tastes sublime

| Truthfulness lighthearted and SEMI-TRUE. I wouldn't touch the molded french bread! Really a fun read, tried to read in performance mode, but ......... I wasn't under the influence ... good work! |
