Sin of Believing in Imperfections

I thought once it was biblically ascribed:
“Be ye perfect,” as if humanly this can be contrived
Many oft’ quote Paul telling that living in the flesh is a sin
To be perfectly honest, surrender of our ALL helps us win
Nothing is more perfect than the death of our will
Sin’s stain is selfishness and does destroy to kill
Sure, sinners we are and always will be
But why deny God’s gift, sacrificially
Those who LOVE Christ have crucified their flesh
The Comforter helps yield up surrender, newly, fresh
Each day I’m a sinner/Saint, by grace, neath the cross
Emptying, searching, believing and receiving, for the lost

Perfection or imperfection is a yard stick within us; according to ones world that he lives in. but at the end of the day you are answerable to one question form our Lord. "How far were you able to carry YOUR cross and walked behind ME?"
Certainly a thought provoking poem and a silky flow of writing.

It is certainly about surrender, all right. Too often this is shallowly understood or outright misunderstood, and that is Christianity's biggest curse these days, I think.
