Life can be refreshing.
A tonic for the mind
Throwing you into new realization
Of insignificance
A sickly weakness to tear the seams
Finding your powerless to actions
And corrupt consequences
In a heartbeat or maybe less
You loved,
It lived,
And you let go.
An omission child
Unborn to this cold world
Lost but not left behind.
You will always be in my heart
My little one, my April.

Short and sweet. I can tell you have a knack for poetry. The first two lines are very powerful and interested me straight away. |

Love the last few line's very powerful and expressive. "lost but not left behind" nicely written and something almost mystical about it... |
