Grief

Piercing crystal eyes gazing down upon me
They are countless in their numbers
Feigning themselves as my guardians
How can the sky shine so bright when all I feel is pain?
Gleaming a thousand shattered memories that pierce my heart
Flickering skylight mocking my insecurities
The night is the time, Old scars find rebirth
The stars steal the mask, I cannot hide this
I wish I was all that you have searched for
I am a sheep in wolf's clothing
The star I once wished on burned away
The sky is no longer limitless
I can finally see the boundaries
They will keep me ensnared
I push my own boundaries and get nowhere
A shooting star soars everytime my gaze strays
This beauty holds no hope for me
The sky is truly the limit
I always look up when I am losing hope
Averting my eyes from reality
I befriend each star with my helpless glance
I beg of them for a sunrise lacking anguish
How will my composure hold as time erodes it?
Staring my foes in the face has begun to wear me
Screaming at my star realizing my worst fears
I am to remain on the ground
I cannot retreat from this pain
I can not fly from the misery
Help me find the wings
PS:
Creativity is what you feel, what you bleed out. I took a creative writing class my senior year and my teacher would always say that you may use vulgar language in your writings, ONLY if they related to the subject and atmosphere of your write. Censoring a poem is like hushing what message you may want to get across. And I want to get across my whole stories, not half of them.
