Age

Another birthday has came
And gone,
My hormones are rapidly
Racing,
They say you get better
With age
They say you season with
Grace,
They say age make you
Wise
I know it mellow down
My yearning,
It lets me be more serene
I take time to smell the
Roses and the carnation,
I love the fresh smell of
Rain,
I love it when the moon
Is full,
The color all yellow and
Bright,
Thinking the little boy
Truly in the moon
Using the earth as his
Movie screen
The world is his
Entertainment
I love to stand and watch
The stars
While the stars is at there best
Dazzling, radiant
So angelic,
I love to stand and watch
The birds make their nest
In my red tip bush,
I love to watch the butterfly
Emerging from the cocoon
I love to take time and watch
All of Mother Nature I can see,
Letting everyone know the
World is a wonderful
Place to be,
Life is a precious thing
Just open your eyes and
Heart and suck in all you
Can
Without a doubt you find
Each and every birthday
Will alway more
Satisfying than the other

,

if we are one of those blessed ones... and actually get to gracefully get old.. God does open up our eyes.. to slow down and to see all of his great works.. the closer we get up to a ripened age, the more we will see and God is preparing us for heaven.. and also.. death won't be so frightening, because you will want to be with him in his arms for sure.. yes, I suppose is we were young and pretty, or handsome and had all that wisdom to begin with, we might use it wrong.. so grey hair and big bellies have wonderful wisdom to share.. ever notice why many old people just sit and smile and listen to the younger folks.. living, experiencing must take place.. speaking many things... is wonderful yes.. but just like a book.. you read it, it all seems so easy, so wonderful.. but living it is different thing... if a young person wants to start having early wisdom, instead of standing there yawing and mawing... listen to the ones who have experienced life.. if you can do that, you will be a prized gift on earth... if young people go around acting as if they know it all.. then no one is going to help share with them.. since they know it all.. I hardly know it all, I am still learning.. but I tell you one thing for sure.. it is much nicer to learn by experiencing those things, even by mistakes, oh yes.. can learn quite a great deal with mistakes.. be no fool, learn from a past mistake... trade it into something good.. fine writer you are there Carolyn.. thank you for this lesson..
