Sorrows Eyes

Contributed by Penguindave on Saturday, 8th April 2006 @ 06:02:04 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I see her face, always in mind,
Through golden fields, on summers sky,
I dream of her, with hand in mine,
Though days have past, a wondrous time.

I see her face, I watch TV,
My mind consumed, by memory,
I pray for her, on lonely days,
I brave the storm, but still I pain.

I see her face, on river free,
It sails away, too summon me,
I think of her, the times we spent,
I miss the days, that heaven sent.

I see her face, as I sleep,
When I awake, my heart sits deep,
I long for her, here by my side,
Then dry the tears, from sorrows eyes.

Dear friend,I know how you feel becauseIam not a strenger to this feeling; I too sail in the same sorrowful boat.
Let the flame of love burn brighter then ever - speak out your heart louder then ever before, let the angels in heaven sing along with you.
beautifully poem, I loved reading it.
FRANCO.

A very heart felt write, with enough beauty to capture any reader. The opening couplet was exquisite. Well done.
