Forever ago; an eternity
We could say love; such an innocent word
How long back was that; I can't recall
Shades of emotion; from laughter to tears
We could say hate; such a sad thing to think
How far have we taken this; it seems like so long
Raindrops on the window; a reflection of how I feel
We could say goodbye; that would end all of this
How much pain you’ve made me feel; tears no longer come
Memories of you follow me; you won’t leave my thoughts
We could say we’re sorry; try to fix all of this
How would it feel; I wouldn’t know what to say

"in the silence I long to hear what goes unsaid" a line from one of my poems that popped into my head when I read yours. Lots of depth and honest felt emotion.... |

I liked the feelings and such from your poem. You were honest, I like that. |
