Nowhere from Here

And how can I ever make this better?
There’s no way out from here
Here are my tears, can’t you see?
My rapture has been destroyed
No salvation
Not now
Not in this life
Look into my eyes and know
That I’ve survived
All this time
Just to die
In your arms
These tears are cold
Your arms are lost.
I can’t feel
I am cold
And this place is old
Something inside asks for release
Where do we go from here?
I destroyed your God
And my faith
And all the hope within
Find in me
All the simple things
So this must be my redemption
Do I have to confess my sins?
Can you find in me,
What you want to see?
I’m suffering and in misery
The only hope is here
My only life is with you
But only misery lies with me
It starts with one thing
And turns into nothing
Darkness sings
And light fades with your reflection
Time is gone
I can’t remember
And I’ve watched all I’ve loved leave me
And in the end, I only love you
And in the end
My heart stopped beating
Frozen in time
And space
Dead
And weeping
I am the ghost
I am the raven
You are the wolf
And the hope
The silver melting the evil from my heart
So from here, we go…
Nowhere.

This is awsome. I mean it. You Rock, your word choice, the word placement, everything. Even if it is dark, I thought it was so cool. A+ definitly.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
