We all lie to ourselves
We hide from the truth
We are nothing
We are mistakes
The plan that went wrong
We take it out on each other
War.Violence.Rape.Disorder
We crave wrong
Simplicity is the key
Kindness goes far
But not far enough
We are too stupid to keep things right
We are nothing to ourselfs
All we do is fight
We are the scum
We are the evil
We are to blame

We feed off decay and destruction
We thrive off the suffering of others
We define evil as the devil
Take a look in the mirror
we're the wasters, users the abusers
We are the problem that cant be solved
Nothing can help us, but ourselves
the world was a gift
We ruined it
But what can i say
we are only human

this is a topic i have written of many times good job

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
