Play Me In The Dark
~
Don’t praise me in the light
Just to play me in the dark
Your bite is much more damaging
Than your little bark
~
Don’t wine me till I’m drunk
Then dine me on betrayal
You might have succeeded once
But next time you might fail
~
Don’t fill my love tank up
Just to run me till it’s gone
I don’t operate those types of hours
Moon up until the dawn
~
Thank God, I soon got older
Maturity came at last
Those days weren’t much fun
But to you they were a blast

What an intimate look into your youth Jeff. I agree, Thank God we all got older! Very well done and much enjoyed on this end. Thank you!
