As I walked down the empty halls,
Down the echoing stairway,
My head down and my ear phones in,
When suddenly as by chance,
A young man sat there on my way,
His hands on his face,
Tears rolling down to his knees,
I stop, ear phones out,
Bending down I whisper,
“I’m sorry, but are you ok?”
I had to catch my breathe,
And I almost fall back,
For when he lifted his head up,
His warm face so heavenly,
Eyes bluer then the sky,
His hair brighter then the sun,
Face purer then the clouds.
When he looked at me,
I felt faint,
“I’m lost” he gently sang,
“Where are you going?”
I barely breathed,
“I’m looking for someone,”
He softly said,
“Who?”
“You” he said so beautifully,
“What do you mean,” I cried,
Standing up,
Took my hands in his,
Looked me the eye,
“You are beautiful,
Inside you always care,
Come back to your father,
For you have always been loved,”
Loud ringing in my ears,
My heart stopped for sure,
He must be crazy,
But so must I,
Because I can’t disbelieved,
That’s all I’ve ever needed to know,
“You will be loved here dear one.”
With that he let go,
One second later,
He vanished,
“Wait, no wait, come back,”
I yelled .”Please…..”
No that’s all I need to feel,
Now on my knees,
I stood to my feet
Wiped away my tears,
Prayed a prayer of thanks,
Walking on,
Knowing that once again,
He had come to me,
Once again I heard,
Gabrielratchet,
One of the seven,
An archangel,
Being the one of good tidings,
Yet I would have missed,
If I had simply had walked around him.
