Her Mask

Contributed by oreo910 on Wednesday, 5th April 2006 @ 08:50:11 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

She smiles a mask of joy,
But inside she cries for the boy,
The mask of beautiful colors,
Hides her like sleeping under covers,
She hopes for a day to go back in time,
But for now she rewinds only in her mind,
He's so close but so far away,
He's in her grasp but still he won't stay,
She can only hide her tears of pain,
She can only wish to stop all the rain,
Outside could be sunny but her world is not,
She wants him back in her life back in the plot,
She wears a mask and cries inside,
Her mask is her only way to hide.

Well, done. Although few, now-days, actually wear a mask of joy. Still, the overall view is remarkably ascribed brilliant. There is actually a summery view at the dynamics of relationships, with their power struggle, going on throughout this masterful masterpiece. Thanks for sharing.
