Wherever You May Wonder

I know that God is leading you,
Away and out of our lives.
But parts of you will be with me,
Long after we say our goodbyes.

You taught me so much more,
That I didn't know about God.
And that the sweetest way to go,
Is on the path that Jesus trod.

You helped me get a burden for souls,
And showed me it's important to care.
A love like that is hard to find,
A love like that is rare.

Wherever you may wonder,
I want you to always know.
That I love you dearly,
And I will miss you so.

Although I do not understand,
All of why you have to leave.
I know I need to trust the Lord,
And just believe.

I love you with all my heart,
I love you more than words could say.
As I think of and pray for you,
I hope you'll think of me each day
