An endless Autumn blue

It is on pale days
ragged wounded days
I find that I am lost.
It is fitting to me
to let what tragedy
embraces me
lay heavy upon my heart.
The wind bemoans the trees
the trees bemoan the leaves
the leaves shutter and fall.
My eyes are an endless autumn blue
spewing the sins of my soul.
It is in my sorrow
that i find the most strength.

' My eyes are an endless autumn blue
spewing the sins of my soul. '
That's a powerful line, and this, though short, is a compelling lyric. I find myself identifying rather a lot these days.
Well done.
