Tapestry of Dreams

Let's fly on clouds made from dreams:
One fine thread in a tapestry of seams.
And one little thread amongst many hues,
Surrounded by a sea of colorful blues.
There are oceans, islands, toils, and fears,
All in this tapestry, wet from my tears.
Little men living, old men dying;
And me in my tiny room, keeping from crying.
All this goes on while I sit on my floor,
All on a tapestry hung on my door.
It's a perfect landscape, a wonderful bliss,
A beautiful world that I've come to miss.
When will my life be this magnificent painting?
My life right now is full of gray raining.
And boisterous skies, filled with strife,
I miss the painting... I long for that life.
