A poet writes his emotions
Be it pleasure or pain
If it does not rhyme
It is no crime
To write true emotions
They aught to be experienced
Only those who live the life
Of pleasure and of pain
Real or Imagined do write them poetic
The pleasures experienced or imagined
Become the romance of life
The pain endured or imagined
They are the tragedy of life
Yes, poet is a dreamer too
What he can not live real
He lives them in imagination
Pleasure and pain
They are his inspiration
His dreams become a reality
For he truly lives in them
And paints them in his canvas
That is the page blank
He revels in his writing
Just as you revel in your reading
Your revelry is his satisfaction
If you feel the pleasure or pain
That he paints so exquisitely
That is the reward he claims
