When I was somewhat younger
I didn’t know what cantaloupe meant
So whenever I heard the word
I pictured
A mauve goat-faced character
With the ears of a hare
And the hind legs of a kangaroo
Perched on a small-wheeled cart
Being towed by
A blue
Armadillo-like creature
With eyes like dinner plates
And now when you hear the word
I challenge you
Not to
Think
The same.

What did they put on your cereal as a child, LSD?
Now I will have to use the alternative word for cantaloupe, since you have ruined this one (lol).
