A secret love I once had
who was thoughtful and kind
he gave me the sunshine
and made love in our minds

I know he didnt mean it
but the sunshine turned to rain
now all that is left
is the hurt and so much pain

So now I take each day as one
in hopes we build a trust
I know deep in my heart
I need you and it's not just lust
