Senior Prom

So this is it, my time for inspiration
So now i talk about, the only prom i'll mention
It was the only one that was worth it
Even though we were there 10 minutes, that was it
We left to eat
And turned our sobriety to defeat
We were drinking, smoking weed and popping pills
She was taking it easy, though as not to get ill
We had some laughs, but the silences scare me
The were way too long like the minutes to be
Alone with the sister i felt only love for
Because her sister, the one i was with was a whore
I just thought that it would be better if she was with my "brother"
The same one that blacked one of my eyes, and not the other
She still sat there and stared with her eyes, in my direction
Never looking too long, so that i didn't see them
I know now that i should have been with her
Because when she said she wanted me, thoughts stir
It almost starts a hate for a race
just because she didn't want me at her sisters place
I turned my back on the things people search for months to a year
Incomparable incompetence is where life always seems to steer
So now i'm left with a memory that's better than the others
even though its in the past, with the memories of being lovers
