Loving Flowers

Contributed by Lone_er on Saturday, 1st February 2003 @ 06:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

~~~~~~~~~~
The vision of the heart
Sees the true person within
The heart sees the whole
The eyes just the skin
Each person is a spirit
Temporarily enclosed in clay
Desiring to be seen
With so much to say
So view with your heart
Perhaps you too will see
The potential in everyone
To bloom in majesty
Russ
Loving Flowers
Just as a flower blooms
Revealing the majesty inside
So too the beauty of your heart
Is obvious-- impossible to hide
So I write these words
For all the world to see
The gracious and loving heart
Full of wonder and majesty
Your beauty far surpasses
Any other I have known
Nor does it diminish
Every day it has grown
Please accept these flowers
As a token of my love
They pale beside your beauty
My sweet and gentle turtle dove
In time these flowers wilt
Will slowly fade away
Not so our love
It blooms forever and a day
Russ
What sweet expression ... just lovely.
