Sweet princess of my soul

Contributed by Somnium on Sunday, 2nd April 2006 @ 10:37:53 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I can hear my heart thumping
baby make this go faster
Speeding past the limit
of this world

Three rasping breaths and
we're away
cross my heart
and hope we'll stay together
my love as we bound
past country lanes
and skyscraper
forests

Honey taste lingers
in my mouth
from your precious kiss
with coconut
and spices

Firefly in heart
is burning to
be set free in yours
on the fast lane
of freedom
from opressive
smog and enslaving
suits
that never let us be free

Stop for a rest
I cry but faster
you drive until we
fly above this little
world

My chest rises up and down
my fingers tremble
my stomach turns
as we cross the line
into your unknown

Drink you tell me
as we land
in fields of blue
from lullaby streams
and sleep in fairytale
trees

In white crow
cacoons

As I look into your
eyes
your heart as fast as mine
and tears form
as finally
whats meant to be
supposed to be
was going to be
has come

and you can never let me
go, take care of me
and I of you.

Sweet princess of my soul.
