Souls intwined

Contributed by PhantomVampyress on Saturday, 1st April 2006 @ 09:00:31 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Souls intwined
over periods of time
I am his
He is mine
Love flows through
our hearts completion inside
where once was emptiness there

you parted on your way searching for
something and gave me away to the nothingness
letting me fill the void
where you once were

to this day I search for that missing piece
inside that keeps me from being full.. that missing
piece is you

Even though it didn't last
I experienced the greatness of true love
for that I am grateful within
but your not here
I feel so lost without

I know inside
our souls are intwined
and someday you will return to me
for you are mine

JENNI

Your writting is like aged wine 4 one so young. Crafted skilfully by the hearts own hand. most sincere in it's expression.

You gave this an uplifting ending, you don't usually see that when you hear someone's parted. This was a nice read, full of sentiment and hope, which is always a pleasure to read.
