I know it hard sometimes to picture something,
Something different that explains you
Something that captures what you want to capture
But is there really anything.
Maybe the one thing that can capture you is you, your frame,
Your face, your walk, your talk, your smile, your shape.
Well if that’s what it is I’m *****

What to do to explain what you mean
Where you’re coming from, how to put it across
No one else understands, well they cant really
They see something that you don’t think is there
You try to keep up with this personality of yours
And people are never going to listen so forget them
Just lie there and explain what you are to yourself and hope than one ***** day
You can look in the mirror and say
THAT’S ME.

I believe you touch the truth with what you have said. I find it insightful and hold it dear.

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
