Another Fake

Contributed by nothingness on Saturday, 1st April 2006 @ 02:56:56 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

How many times must I make the same mistake,
I think I found someone true, but no, he is just another fake.
Every time I tell myself its not different and will never be,
But slowly my hopes rise, thinking maybe he is the one for me.
Too soon to catch my breath, my hopes are slashed away.
I should have know I was stupid to think I would have my day.
Will I ever learn to just accept things, no matter how unfair?
Or should I keep hoping that there really is someone out there?
I don’t understand anything, why am I here, what am I here for?
To foolish to learn from the past, I know I will do it once more
But I just can’t seem to get over the fact that I will always be alone,
Or is there someone for me that I missed, forever he will be unknown
Will I ever know for sure if there is anything to come, or if I lost it all?
I do not remember anything I was suppose to know, or do I and just cant recall?
Please there has to be a way I can redo all of the things I have broken
Until then I will bury these thoughts deep in my heart, making sure they are never again spoken.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
