Looking Deep Inside

Contributed by lilbabe on Friday, 31st March 2006 @ 10:42:50 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

every hit i take
only reminds me more of
what you did, i cant forget
i cant just move on
like i've done a million times before
i've seen it all, seen into your soul
i've known it all along
now i cant turn away
from all the pain i saw in your eyes
why'd you have to tell me all about you
why'd you have to show me the scars on your wrist
the scars on your heart too, i know
but i cant save you one too many times
from the things you never show
i can only turn and walk away
& try to forget wat i saw in your eyes

such a sad poem...speaks of rue emotions. Sometimes we all see things so painful and sad we wish we could forget...just erase, hit the delete key and rewind...

great write, truly wonderful poem

Very nice way to show your emotions but don't give up on somebody espically if they are going through a rough time and when they push you away that is when they need somebody the most. Good write
