Force it down my throat why don't you
Ill just sit and choke on your self centered teen angst
Sometimes I fell like telling you to cheer up
I love you, I love you all
and i used to let it all hurt me too
But you need to realise how great it all is when you
stop it ruling you
Step back...
its not worth it really
is it?
Its not going to last
its not "true love" yet
Whatever it is thats bothering you this time
Why dont you tell it to leave you alone
I know it feels imposible
I know you feel powerless at the feet of
a gorgon of pain
But the gorgon is in you
its in me
its in everyone
This stuff thats bothering you
is just life...
its never going to stop so just adapt
cope
deal with it
take a chill pill
smile
put some happy music on
and put this
all
into
p e r s p e c t i v e
Im here though
always!

I've had a few problems with my son recently and it would do him good to read this.
Excellent writing.

Not at all bad. I think I hear a little in the wording that will be improved with practice, but for an attempt like this it's quite good. Keep at it - being able to sit down and write poetry on a subject of your choosing is an excellent thing. Oh, and read, as much as you can. Good luck.
