Your knowledge is a secret weapon
you use against me.
Your eyes are darts you shoot
at me and I feel your anger,
your insecurities, your disappointments,
and your sorrow.
It drives me insane.
Your lips fire ammo in my direction.
It shoots me down, makes me feel weak
and slowly kills me.
Your knowledge, your eyes, your lips
and WORDS–
they frighten me.
I never know what you are going to do to
me next.
I never know what you will put me up
against.
You have the upper hand, the advantage.
I am the thing you use, and break, and
shoot down for sport when already at
my weakest point.
You are me.
Looking in the mirror.
A distorted image of danger, secrets, lies, and
my demise.

| I liked everything but the ending. It seemed too with "you are me" I picked that up reading the lines before it. Otherwise it was great. |
