insomniac

Shadows, memories; everyone around you has a secret they hide
Everything in the past has a story
Laughter, tears; they go hand in hand
Life can make you so tired
Belief, thoughts; contradiction makes the world go ‘round
Trust what your heart sees, not your eyes
Honesty, betrayal; without one can the other really exist?
The rain can sometimes be so cold

I like some of the thoughts in this, actually. I would not really call this piece a poem, but I am not exactly sure why that is.
I can't say I really have a favourite line, I really just like them all.
Good write

Your language flows nicely. These thoughts are a little disembodied, but interesting, and well-put.
