try to hold on

Topic: goodbyepoetry

i have tried so hard to make this love true and strong,
crying many tears since you have gone,
i hold on to the memorys within my heart,
but why did it end up like this,
why did we part,
you said you wanted me now and forever,
but then you broke my heart,
and now i am on my own,
waiting for you to be in my arms once again,
waiting for the day you know what you want,
trying to forget, trying to move on
but it is too hard when you love someone so much,
missing their tender kiss and their ever lasting touch,
the press of their skin touching yours,
the feeling you get as you heart explores,
i never wanted things to end up this way,
i hate how it is and how we are,
seeing you with another girl so soon,
i rips me apart,
i know i have done wrong but why run away?,
i have tried to keep the love strong,
tried to make you stay,
there is a part of me thats has broke in to pieces i cant count,
i cant hold on any longer to the way i feel,
if this love is as strong and real,
then it will find its way back into our lives,
we will be happy and contented and live our lives,
all i can do is pray that this will become true,
but if not then goodbye babe to you

aww so sad. I know exactly how you feel. I'm going through something simlar so this speaks to me. Its so hard to let go and so afraid to b/c the chance that they come back to you. Excellent work. I can so easily relate.
