I lie awake in late night hours
Dreaming of your tenderness
The way you pour your words like wine
And wrap me in your warm caress
Thoughts of you stir my soul
Tempting every part of me
My insides burn and ache for you
In all I do,you're all I see
Breathless in my attempt to speak
Speechless in my words I seek
You're the dreamy sigh upon my lips
The softest touch on my fingertips
I write your name upon my mouth
Lightly drawn with my own tongue
Savouring each letter
I lick them when I'm done
Addicted to the dreaming
I'm a junkie for your love
This natural high of wanting you
Is all I'm dreaming of.....

| awwww this is a sweet write, i do so love your poetry and style... and word for word you had me *feeling* the one i love, usually i just think or feel emotion whislt reading poetry, im deeply moved here.. really like your last four lines too:) |
