The Dark

Contributed by Sinned on Wednesday, 29th March 2006 @ 10:30:06 PM in AEST
Topic: insomniac

I'm talking of you
You know I do
I a spirit of the night
I laugh when you feel fright
I see you walking alone
Chilled to your bone
Your hair on end
I your fien--err friend
I see you on a darken street
In silence you sherk
Eyes as big as plates
How they dilate
A partical moon
You walk alone
No one knows what lurks in shadows
Unlike that old radio show
Down that city lane
Weak kneed almost lame
Why the fear of walking alone
Look around
Like most you fear the dark
What lurks
Buildings cold and grey
I chuckle of you being afraid
What's it all about
Are not you an adult
Here you are
A night with few stars
Tree branches and fingers reach out
Ready to snare a lone walk about
Why those bumpy hives
Trees are not alive
I laugh at your fright
Scared of shadows of the night
Creatures may scheme
Only people scream
Bark on a tree looks so rough
Day time you act so gruff
I know your inner thought
Alfye what's it all about
I see you walking alone
Best you hurry home
Pray god forgive all your sin
Tuck yourself in
Blanket over your head
Chilled in your warm bed
I will be there as you scream
I occupy your dreams

Sinned

A very mysterious write Dennis. Very well done. We should not give much credence to dreams . but I really had one so very lively half dream, half nightmare, - and I pushed the dream in the back of my mind or under the rug, wanting the content never to happen, but it happened.
Know that I managed with fantastic manipulations to yet access and open my lemon which is as good as dea.
So commenting is an ordeal. So is posting. Miseria with Easter koming.

Managed at least to post "Mater Dolorosa in honor of Blessed Lady. Did it.
Blessings abundantly
Elizabeth

A great poem, it's kind of scarey though hehe.

Take care.

Scott
