Serendipical Moments

Contributed by Caged Soul on Wednesday, 29th March 2006 @ 01:17:14 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

A sense of privilege is what I felt
to have shared a space in this universe
with a being so perfect.
I felt shivers running up my spine-
Who is this, what can it be?
Is this what they call love at first sight?

I was in a safe place, safe space,
a safe state of mind.
The warmth of her soul blew down my neck
as I tried to make sense of it all.

The silence was broken by rumbling emotions
twirling my insides, I couldn’t even be still.
She breathed with 1000 angel voices-
with it, she dispersed all my insecurities.

In her eyes I could see the future-
growing old and grand children, separated by a shadow.
Am I infatuated, or is it love?

Could it be love at first sight?
Could it be…….

Damn, she’s gone.
I don’t even know her name.

Very good.. I know that feeling oh so well.. in fact, if you want to know what you'd feel like if you had taken her home.. read "WOW"

Good write... it comes from a good place in you.... keep it coming

I really love this poem, Ash. Its a very nice write and it reminds me of something that happened to me once. I relate to it very well.

Thanks for a great poem.

Take care,

Tim

Nicely done! I like the ending, a good touch there.

I do believe in love at first sight... however I've not quite worked it out in my mind. And unfortunately I'm too wearied to do so tonight, so I will just have to save it.

Keep it up.

Andrew
