I'm trying to hold on.
But i'm losing my grip.
Waitin for the moment
Biting my lower lip
Patience is just a plug
To get us to wait
I may miss the moment
All this may be negated
I've been sedated
By words played like a game
You said you're not ready
Those words always the same
Throw the dice and gamble
Make a move, take a chance
Stop with answers routine
Stop denying romance
Weigh the risk, survey the reward
I don't have to buy the pitch
Surprise her, make her eyes yours
Make two lives begin to stitch

Perfectly true. Everything written in this poem is inspiring.
I liked
"Throw the dice and gamble
Make a move, take a chance
Stop with answers routine
Stop denying romance"
the best. We DO need to stop denying everything, stop becoming robots. Stop becoming slaves to higher masters. |
