Waters of life,
shine down on us.
Let Autumn be your sieve,
that she might stir her finest gold
and cast it midst the stars.
Let us sip from your fords,
let us bellow mirth in the depths
of your serenity;
that we might come to know you,
and to know your buoyancy.
Waters of life,
shine down on us.
Let Summer be your voice,
that he might proclaim,
with mighty thunderous sky,
the immensity of your being.
Let us bathe in the translucency
of your name, let us weep
in the recklessness of your love.
To drink of your life
is to drink of the
waters of our own life.
May our mouths drink forever
in the shadows of the night.

The title matches the poem perfectly. Nice blend. |

Wonderfully soothing language here. I'm far too tired to be at this, really, but this was very refreshing.
