Memories Or Dreams

Topic: DreamsandWishes

Why does your memory stay
No matter how far I go away

In a sea of blue
Your face appears on a cloud
The only one
Not covered by a dark shroud

Days have passed
But my dreams are still the same
My heart and love
I wonder will it ever change

Do you remember
That night we laid there
Just watching
The lightning race through the air

Or how about the time
We walked it seemed for hours
Along the beach in a dying sunset
Holding you hand, Being your tower

Once we lay
Outside gazing into the stars
Holding each other tightly
Not understanding why we had to be apart

But I left
With almost no warning
And I could not bear
The thought of seeing you mourning

Our lives now torn
Shattered pieces unable to mend
How can this be
Niether wanting it to end

I lay awake now
Wondering and trying to see
Was this Our memories,
Or was it mearly my dream.
