Lifepoems

Her mousy hair a mess,
A ransacked nest.
Brown eyes dull and hazy.
Pale pink lips dry and flaking.
Off-white teeth aligned in a kind of woven pattern.
Transparent yellowish skin exposing nervous vains.
Jagged flimsy nails, bitten below the skin.
Head held down, back arched, scuffed shoes dragging.
She is such a beautiful girl.
Golden report card served on a silver platter.
Countless homeruns, spikes and baskets.
Can do wonders with a pencil, her magic wand.
Her thoughts and opinions are strong like the wind;
A hurricane of ideas and strategies.
Trustworthy, honest, and a loyal companion.
Yes, she is such a beautiful girl.
