In the beginning it felt so right,
When I first met you,
I wanted to be with you,
To have you hold me in your arms,
But then they told me you had a girlfriend,
And I would have to wait.

So I did,
I waited all summer long,
And I daydreamed about you,
And I went to sleep with you on my mind,
Until high school started for us,
And I would get to see you again.

When I saw you in the hall,
I muttered a small hello,
And you replied the same,
With a small smile,
That made my heart flutter for you once again.

Little did I know,
That you and here were no more,
Until the day I got asked out for the very first time,
I still can’t believe that you got your friends to ask me for you,
That was so lame,
And yet I still said yes.

We went out for a little while,
And it was awkward the whole time.
Why couldn’t you talk to me like everyone else?
Was it because you felt you owned me?
I was not something you owned,
And I proved that to you when we broke up,
Which you once again,
Got your friends to do for you.

I was so angry at you,
That I lashed out at you,
In so many ways.
I called you fat,
To your face,
Which I had promised myself I would never do,
But I did.

You don’t know how sorry I am,
For the things I’ve said to you,
And the things that I didn’t,
Do you know that I said these things,
Because I was hurt,
And do you realize I don’t say these things anymore,
When I see you I try to smile,
To let you know that I’m not mad anymore,
And that I realize that your one of the greatest guys that I know.

I don’t know where we went wrong,
But if I could go back,
I would so that I could remember,
What it’s like to be with you.
I miss you and we haven’t talked in months.

You have a new girl now,
And I hate her so much,
I don’t know why you love her,
She’s such a *****,
But I guess I’ll have to wait until she’s gone,
To have another chance,
If you would give me another chance,
Because I still love you,
And I always have,
And I always will.
I have many regrets in my life,
And losing you,
Is one of them.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD WRITE BUT HONEY IF HE HAD TO GET HIS FRIENDS TO ASK YOU OUT AND TO BREAK UP WITH YOU HE IS NOT WORTH IT. I HAVE BEEN IN MANY RELATIONSHIPS LIKE THAT AND YOU IF KEEP GOING BACK TO THEM AND IT ALWAYS ENDS THE FIRST TIME IT ENDS IT IS THEIR FAULT AND YOU GIVE IT A ANOTHER CHANCE AND IT ENDS IT IS YOUR FAULT. WHY WOULD YOU SET YOURSELF UP FOR ANOTHER HEART BREAK. MY HEART HAS GOTTEN BROKE OVER AND OVER AND THE ONLY THING THAT HAS HEALED MY HEART IS I HAVE A SIX WEEKS OLD DAUGHTER THAT IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. BUT OVER ALL GREAT POEM.

YOUR FRIEND:
LOVEBUG
