Memories of free-thinking and clouds of smoke
Memories of plastic dreams...pointed needles
Memories bottled up into a rubberbanded syringe
Memories of Apartment 1b.
Remeber the nights of countless happenings
With friendly fiends...happy smiles
Dialated eyes and whimsical lines
All an track to no where in our minds
On the floor of Apartment 1b.
Remeber the Sex and all its demise
With fierce words....supressed cries
False love and lustful eyes
Around a whirlpool of self-taught lies
In the back room of Apartment 1b.
Recall the stories each one of us told
Of broken homes.....loneliness
Dreams of gold and the broken hearts of many
And the lies of the greatest Liars I have known
That echo in the walls of Apartment 1b.
REMEBER IT.....We lived it.....we breathed it....IT MADE US!!!

I love how you always bring the poem back to "apartment 1b", you gave this apartment meaning and a sense of "personality". Great poem, and I can totally understand where you're coming from
