My Thoughts
Right now my life is GREAT
but i have to say my life is filled with lots of HATE.
How can you dislike
and be racist towards a certain race?
i guess only GOD knows
since he is the one who made us this way...
I'm just so confused
I don't know what to do
sometimes I just sit down and cry
and often wonder why...
WHY
Does it bother you that I act the way I do...
SO WHAT my best friend is WHITE and i am BLACK
that's my decision its not up to YOU!!!
If it were up to you then i would be DEAD
because some of the stuff you say to me really gets to me
I'm surprised i haven't raised a GUN to my HEAD!!!
but SUICIDE is not the way to go...
It would be the easy way out though ...
but who said life would be easy
I knew it wouldn't be
but at the same time I didn't know
it would be as difficult as it seems to me..
If tears could make a person pretty
then i would be GORGEOUS
because i can't stop to think of how many times I've wiped my eyes
from ALL my lonely CRIES.
because of this i find it HARD to TRUST...
You don't know how many times i have been lost without a friend
and its ALL because of this STUPID QUESTION!!!!

a great write. i am glad that you have the courage to just be yourself. in my experience people don't often fit into their stereotypes. i really liked the line

snowflake this is a great write. I've always told my children that color is only skin deep, what really matters is what is on the inside that counts when choosing a friend. So do not let others miss lead you, the world is not just made up of black and white or white and black whichever you pefer, there are so many other colors too. So continue to be who you are and everything will work out. Keep up the good work.

I like your thoughts and honestly believe "Most" people are just like you.
My last name is Fleury and many of my friends call me--
"Snowflurry" : )
I like your thoughts--be yourself--we are All made in Gods Image.
I happen to be white and You black----so What--People are people.
Colored people have suffered much because of white people,but honey it takes many years for minds to change.
We need poems & stories like this to bring that change---thank you my friend
