And then the words started flowing
spurting
like a can of Coke shaken up to the
bursting point
And they were angry words
erratic
sawed off at the pronouns
doubling their negatives and
slurring their curses
And they washed over him like an epiphany
burned in his belly like an orgasm
And when they were gone
harsh pants peppering periods in their wake
he fell to his knees and
thanked god for the freedom of speech
