Sometimes I Feel Blue

Contributed by Jeff_Scott_Morehead on Monday, 27th March 2006 @ 07:54:39 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Sometimes I Feel Blue
~
Sometimes I feel blue
When I think of you
The way you went away
Still haunts me to this day
~
I was up before the dawn
And heard that you were gone
You struggled through the night
And faded before the light
~
Your body could stand no more
So it knocked at heaven's door
And was quickly invited in
Where your rest could finally begin
~
My friend, you’ll always be
So very close to me
Though it’s hard to let you go
You’re in a better place I know
~
