The Dreamer's Eye

Contributed by whiteleo1984 on Sunday, 26th March 2006 @ 05:38:26 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Yea, I've got the fire's eye
it engulfs my soul in sorrow
burning it's way thru my emptiness
leaving my world in ashes...

Yet, there is another side of me
that will extinguish that flame
and smile and be happy
thru all my days
that's the side the world should see
that's the side of love that is in me
I don't show it very much
cause I feel helpless when I do
I'm not sure if it's around everyone
maybe only you
but I've got that good side in me
that I thought was long gone
and yet, you woke him up
and for that I thank you
and I leave the world with this
but more than the world, just especially for you
I've seen your dreamer's eye
and I like it, so let it be known...
